Together we’ll be learning the basics of cross-country skiing. Step into a winter landscape, celebrate Black winter joy and vibe with us on this snowy adventure!

Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding

Calling all crews, couples, families, and solo vibe chasers—this is your downhill day! From girls’ trips and date getaways to family fun or solo adventures. Got little ones? Drop them off at the Kidz Club, where they’ll enjoy fun ski lessons while you hit the slopes worry-free.
No gear? No problem—rentals and lessons are ready to level you up. Slide in, suit up, and let’s make the slopes your playground. Winter’s never looked this good!

BLK WinterFest occurs every weekend throughout the month of February, coinciding with Black History Month. Check our event schedule above for specific dates and times.
We offer a variety of winter activities, including skiing, snowboarding, off-trail skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing and even an exciting skating maze in the heart of nature. Our aim is to provide something for everyone, regardless of skill level or age.
No prior experience is required. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our festival is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. Our instructors and guides are here to ensure a safe and positive experience.
To secure your spot for any activity during BLK WinterFest purchase your tickets on our website. Please note that spots are limited, so we recommend securing your spot early.
While some activities have age restrictions, most are open to participants of all ages. Specific age requirements for each activity are mentioned in the event details. Please check the activity description for more information.
All activities include transportation with the exception of Ice Climbing as this activity is accessible by bus and metro. Check the event details for specific transportation information related to each activity.
Yes participants are welcome to drive down to the event locations however we do encourage you to carpool or use our transportation in helping to reduce our carbon footprint. Please be sure to check out the location in the event details of the activity selected.
While some all activities provide equipment, participants are welcome to bring their own. Check the event details for specific information about equipment availability and requirements for each activity.
You are welcome to join as well! Take full advantage of all inclusive transport and equipment rentals. Once there your free to explore solo and adventure out on trails alone (available for certain activities).
Prices vary depending on the activity. Lucky for you, you will only pay a fraction of the cost for each activity.
